Following the events of the night prior, Cat and Dog's new ethereal companion (whom they have named Rebirth Horse) informs the pair of foxes about a "purpose" they must assist it in fulfilling. Meanwhile, in the deeper reaches of the forest, a jaded border collie and their metaphysical rhinoceros beetle companion are confronted by a Swarm Beast.
