Following the events of the night prior, Cat and Dog's new ethereal companion (whom they have now named Rebirth Horse) informs the pair of foxes about a "purpose" that they must assist it in fulfilling, involving a jounrey to a mysterious realm. Meanwhile, in the deeper reaches of the forest, a jaded border collie named Act and their metaphysical rhinoceros beetle companion Dhh are confronted by a Swarm Beast.
