God Animal

Disclaimer: God Animal is not suitable for younger readers, due to containing some mature subject matter, themes and language. The content warnings for the comic are detailed in full, in the linked Warning page preceding the God Animal subsection of the site.
On December 31st 1999, an ethereal eusocial parasite invaded the world and began erasing beings of all varieties, leaving an eerily silent husk of a world in its wake. In the post-apocalyptic 2003, two foxy best friends, Cat and Dog, are on the run from the ever expanding reach of the horrifying Monarch Swarm. When all hope of survival seemed to be lost for the two foxes, they soon encounter a peculiar but friendly deity-like being in the crumbling remains of a remote human dwelling...Rebirth Horse. With Cat and Dog agreeing to assist Rebirth Horse in their mysterious divine mission to reach the lofty realm of The Land Beyond, can the two foxes, Rebirth Horse and some friends they may make along the way survive the horrors of the Post-Silence World and find an ever-elusive place to exist in peace?

God Animal is my main passion project, with both the premise and characters being the culmination of many years and successive forms of development. I began working on the comic in 2021, with the "pilot episode" titled Our Friend Rebirth Horse being completed at the very end of 2023 and the second episode, The Beetle Collie, being completed in late December of 2025.

God Animal is also mirrored on WEBTOON Canvas.

The webcomic template used by God Animal is known as Rarebit; do check it out if you are potentially interested in self-hosting a webcomic and require a template to facilitate it!
